Location: west of East Texas | Are you talking about the wooden box kind with the metal grate on top? If so, we are about to make a couple of them but I can't find anything to use as the grid on top. |

Location: Colorado plains standing on a goat head! | I will try to get some pictures, I made a few for single horses out of 50 and 100 gallon plastic tanks and either 3" x 3" or 4" x 4" cattle panels cut to fit in the bottom. I just put eye bolts in each side and then a length of light chain with double snaps to hold the panel in. The 4x4 worked better for my very large (and large headed) gelding, 3x3 is probably good for most horses. They have worked well for 2-4 flakes (a feeding) to slow them down and keeps most of the hay inside the feeder.

Location: East Tennessee but who knows?! | For round bales we went and got a roll of plastic safety fence ($25 for a 50' roll) and covered the round bale with it and attached it with zip ties. We've got a cradle feeder. |

Location: Silver Lake, MN | I just bought bulk netting online and made my own to fit my feeder. It's been working good we use it for the coule of heifers we have in the barn too and they have leaned to eat out of them as well. Saves us a lot!! |

I'll get pics later but this is the stuff we used. Cut a long piece and go over the top of the bale. We left the ends open but you could cover them as well.
