ks_cowgirl - 2015-02-02 10:28 PM Sony Handycam. They're about $200 and awesome.
I had one that recorded to a disk but it was a PIA to get it onto my computer. Does yours have a SD card or memory stick?
It has a slot for a micro SD card but I don't use it. It has a cord that attaches to the handle so I just plug it into the USB port on my computer and off load the runs. The internal storage is fairly large.
This is also what I use. I really like that I can zoom in to get clear footage at each barrel and I don't have to worry about a charger , as I can just plug it in while I'm going down the road.

This is what I use for everything. Very easy to download and use.

I've been using my phone...Droid Razr Maxx HD. As long as I keep it on the highest resolution setting, the video quality is much better than it was with my old digital camera. I do have problems if it's very dusty, or if lighting conditions are weird - dark barn with a few spots of light shining in, or when the sun is starting to go down. I've been starting to look for a new phone, and the guy I talked to at the Verizon store had a couple really good recommendations when I told him what I needed camera wise. Can't remember them now, but I can find them if someone is interested!

I bought a HD Canon VIXIA HF R52 camcorder that was on sale for Black Friday at Best Buy. It's was originally $450 but I got it for $350. It has 57x zoom, wifi, projector (which I never use), you can plug it in your phone or laptop to upload on social media, and you can pause it on an image and make it a picture. I don't have a smartphone so I don't know if your iPhone can do all that but it's pretty neat. It's a very clear image. I love it. Definitely worth the standing in line for hours to check out that night.

Up till last week we used my Sony cybershot digital hoto camera, but it has a bunch of buttons.... and sometimes my husband would miss a run because of that.... So I ordered a Sony handycam, very easy to use. Open the flipscreen and push the record button!
It has a micro SD card and with the attached USB cable I can just plug it into the laptop and copy the clips on there. Very good quality!!

I use my iPhone 6 and it works great, no complaints. I can transfer them to my Mac easily and not blurry at all.

If your phone has a USB cord you can transfer to a USB stick then plug to USB port on computer and save it to computer.you'll be able to drag to FB and so forth. You may need to down load an app for the transfer.
