) I guess I was just wondering if anyone recognized any of the names on there and if they had accomplished anything. I'm curious about the whole idea of outcrossing in my breeding...maybe not so much into other breeds but possibly more cowy bred quarter horses or possibly some thoroughbreds. Did anyone read the article in Barrel Horse News about the quarter horse breed and the need for outcrossing??
Yes, I did read the article. I also just looked up the pedigrees on the top 8 horses that won the American Slack. Several of them have crosses to what I would call Cowbred or foundation lines.

) So yes, I like a run/cowbred cross!!
