I like the slanted ones from S. A. Walls they have the grip on the bottom and are not as wide

The Original Crooked Stirrups. They stand behind their work and have OUTSTANDING cutomer service. If anything is ever wrong with your pair they have no qualms taking them back and sending out new ones.
I have tried the off brands and they just don't do what my Crooked's do for my knees. I won't ride in anything else when I run barrels. Thinking about getting a pair for roping in when I get the extra cash.
I love mine. Well worth it.

The ORIGINAL.  He invented them and stands behind them 100%.  Support the person that had the idea not the copy cats.

I have 3" slanted Walls on all my saddles and love them but would really like to try a set of the original slanted!

Both Original and Walls are great, but don't ride your colts in them.

Because of the slight tilt, it's harder to get your foot to come clear.  It's even slightly harder to mount and dismount without getting a toe hung. Of course, I have big feet for a girl, so it may not be that way with everyone. I just know that I never had a problem with regular stirrups but I rarely pull off a flawless dismount in a calm situation much less with colts!

I want a pair of the original crooked stirrups but I can't decide what size. I know I don't want the barrel racing size....I want more of a "ladies roper" size. Western bell or all-around? Anyone have any suggestions? (Don't mean to hijack! Just add to discussion!)

The Original Crooked Stirrup - No copies.  I have the light weight barrel racer Crooked Stirrups 3" tread.  They are so comfortable and never hardly loose a stirrup.
