If anything is ever wrong with your pair they have no qualms taking them back and sending out new ones. I have tried the off brands and they just don't do what my Crooked's do for my knees. I won't ride in anything else when I run barrels. Thinking about getting a pair for roping in when I get the extra cash. I love mine. Well worth it. Original Crooked Stirrups

Keeper of the King Snake Posts: 7615 Location: Dubach, LA	Because of the slight tilt, it's harder to get your foot to come clear. It's even slightly harder to mount and dismount without getting a toe hung. Of course, I have big feet for a girl, so it may not be that way with everyone. I just know that I never had a problem with regular stirrups but I rarely pull off a flawless dismount in a calm situation much less with colts!
