Location: Somewhere between the badlands and worselands | I LOVE IT. Been on it for a few years now. If it's falling out, it's not inserted correctly. I got pregnant twice on the pill and the implant. This is the only thing I've had luck with. No pills. No remembering take anything. No periods! The directions day to take it out every 3 weeks, leave it out for a week, then put a new one in. But my doctor told me I can leave it in for 4 weeks then just put in a new one and skip my period. Just take it out for a week every 6 months. So I write a reminder on my mirror once a month and that's it! |

Agreed!! I absolutely love it. I have been on it for probably 5 years now and wouldn't change a thing. Super easy to use and it has never even came close to falling out. You can skip your period if you want and my periods are super short and light. Very regular schedule and I completey trust it. I have recommended it to many friends who have all loved it once they tried it. |

This is probably why she recommended it.... I'm used to skipping periods with seasonale. She told me to leave it for 4 weeks at a time, which would essentially cause you to skip.....which makes my life better. |

Location: Somewhere between the badlands and worselands | It shouldn't bother you during intercourse, but if it bothers your partner by chance, just take it out and as soon as you're done rinse it off and put it back in. I've never had an issue though |

My wife used it, it would sometimes get pulled out during intercourse. But she loved it and I didn't mind it. |

Location: Gainesville, TX | I have used this for close to seven years now. I will not use another form. I'm terrible at remembering to take pills on time. It's been awesome. I have shorter, lighter periods. No more back pain or cramps either. Helps keep my skin a bit clearer. Love it. |

| Made my daughter have terrible anxiety attacks and very moody. She didn't realize what it was until she went off of it and didn't have any more anxiety attacks. |

| I don't blame ya!!! Lol. I really like it. Like I said, the first couple months were frustrating (I had mine in July) but now everything's pretty back to normal. I love that there's no hormones and for those out there who want to have kids someday, the day you take it out is the day you can start trying. Explore all your options, it affects everyone different but I recommend it! |

| That's horrible your experience was like that, glad you found somethin better! That's like my aunt had the Mirena and loved it and had no problems but my sister got it and just had to take it out because she's been having so many problems. You just never know unfortunately -_- |

Location: Oregon | hoofs_in_motion - 2015-02-16 2:16 PM Have you tried the depo shot? It sucks to have it done every 3 months, but I haven't had any side effects from it. I HATED THE DEPO!!!!!!!! Before getting on it I hardly ever had my period and not only did the depo regulate it, but it sent it into overdrive. I had my period for 6 months straight and with already being slender and anemic I was in really poor shape. They had to put me on the pill to even everything back out. I've heard other people have had a lot of issues with it too but my mom and sister can handle it fine, just not me. I will NEVER try that one again and was told that the mirena has really similar hormones so I'll steer clear of that too.
