Shouldnt they learn how to complete proper sentences and use their grammar correctly? If someone emails me and speaks like that I am completely done. No one emails like that. Do people actually fall for their crap? Seriously?

Every horse, saddle or any other tack I've sold or tried to sale on BHW I get more scammer's than actual true buyers.  Sometimes I reply with a "get real" "try another line of work" or really nasty whatever.  I really get tired of them too, you just have to deal with it.

I told grace Daniels I only accepted paypal.  Didn't get a reply but Tyler mentioned PayPal first so it may be the same person.  I replied to Tyler saying the price changed to 10,000 and asked if he was still interested.  Long reply back with yes and he's a marine gifting the saddle to his father but will send agent to pick it up at my residence. Wanted full information from me.  I can't stand people like scammers..

It makes it bad for the honest people that really do want to buy a saddle.  There is a saddle on this site I am interested in, and it worries me that I might get scammed, but it is not a ridiculous amount for the saddle, I just hope she doesn't think I am a scammer either.

Β I edited my ad and deleted my cell number. I only had one person text me about taking payments. I'd rather not be bothered by scammed by text..

I have recently put an ad on here to sell 2 saddles and I have gotten an email like the one on this thread. The supposed buyer stated they wanted to purchase my saddle and would mail a money order for the saddle. Once payment is received they will have a private courier pick up the saddle?? I feel that this person is not being honest but what do they have to gain??

Β  I haven't had scammers in forever. It's so funny how they talk sooo strange. It's like a curse: if thou wish to scam thou must speak in riddles.

I sold my mare last year on BHW within 3 days of posting here. BUT lol, I got your average scammers like this which I ignore and one really psycho woman! In my listing I wrote in the first sentence that I was selling the mare because I had a newborn baby, he was only 3 weeks old at the time. She texted me at 7:30 at night asking if I would haul the mare to an arena which is 1hr and 20 minutes from me for her to try , because she was going there to try another horse that evening. She felt it would be convenient for her to try two in one evening to see if she liked them. I texted that I could not haul anywhere with a new baby and I was still suffering from my C-section so that was not an option for me. I offered for her to come try the mare at my place the next day if she wanted. She texted back that if I really wanted to sell the horse I was silly for not hauling that evening. I didn't even reply! Another person called me the next morning early and said they were coming my way and they were interested. They ended up purchasing the mare. Later that day psycho woman texted me she was in my area and wanted to come try the mare. I texted her and said the mare sold that morning. She started texting and ranting calling me a lair and that I was foolish for not hauling to her for her to try the horse, and she would trash me for doing bad business etc.....she even went on facebook and found my advertisement there and started texting all kinds of crap. I just commented that it sounded like she had a bad case of PMS and I couldn't believe she was acting the way she was considering she owned a business in Dallas that she was advertising on the same facebook account she was bad mouthing me with. That stopped her in her tracks. I still have no idea why she flipped out, I hadn't even spoke to her about the horse on the phone. This is a great place to advertise though!

The texts I got ticked me off too. I got really rude with them and they got the hint. Lol

I've had many scam emails. One (after a few emails) all they asked was for MY paypal email, said they had a lot of invoices every day because they were a tack store and didn't want to miss my invoice....
They drained my account within 5 min. WITH JUST MY EMAIL!!!!

They even had a fake website set up and everything. The second I figured it out there was no trace left of them anywhere on the internet.... Paypal caught them and I got all my money back but it was scary. And the emails sounded so legit. Nothing like the OP Email where you KNOW it's a scam lol I felt like an idiot.

Moral of the story they don't need your paypal email if you are invoicing them !!
