What a joy it is for the believer to cry out to God for help when times of trouble draw near. There is nowhere safer than the arms of the loving Savior who made us and redeemed us for His glory.
In today's society we are plagued with individualistic mind set. Rather than resting in the dependence we were created to have, we rest instead in our own wants and passions. This began in the garden with the first man and woman, and it continues today. The first rebellion against God is no different from the rebellion we experience today. Just as Eve chose her own way over her Creator's , we choose autonomy over submission to a holy God. Psalm 71:1-13 reminds us that God is our rock, fortress, and hope. We were created to trust Him and seek Him above our own desires.
When trouble comes, to whom do you cling? Let us be a people who trae our independence for a relationship with God who made us. Let us find our strength in the Redeemer who rescued us from ourselves.
Psalm 71:1 In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be put to shame. Deliver me in Your righteousness , and cause me to escape.
For it is with God all things are possible
Have a very Blessed joyful in Jesus name day
Father, guide us today to do all things to bring glory and honor to You AMEN

I just wanted to say that this was the most perfect timing ever. I have had a serious rough time the past few months and the last 2 nights I have spent crying and all but yelling at God over somethings that I was trying SO hard to stay faithful about but it all just kept getting worse. This morning on my way to work I shamefully apologized for my temper tantrum.

As many of y'all know I lost a mare I raised after a terrible experience at the vet I work for. What not very many people know is that I also put the only dog I have ever raised down a few weeks ago after a terrible experience with a small animal vet telling me how terrible I was for not spending the several thousand to try to save him with a small chance of survival. Needless to say, my faith has been shaken. I have been sad, persevering, strong, mad, weak, desperate... you name it- its been an emotion the past 60 days. Some all within one day lol.
