First of all my head is huge so the size I would need is like a 71/4" Whats the best looking helmet out there. Does anybody like the Troxels? I heard they were bulky and I don't want my head to look any bigger.

Troxels look like mushrooms. Look at the ovation helmet. Comfortable and not huge. 7 1/4 is not large at all.

measure your head in centimeters. 57=7 58=7 1/8 59= 7 1/4.

I personally LOVE the Charles Owens and the GPA's. My daughter has a purple ovation.

I wear a 7&1/4 cowboy hat too. I don't have any stores around me that carry helmets, so I picked out a few from State Line Tack and kept my favorite and sent the others back. Well I ended up keeping two because I couldn't make up my mind LOL.
I kept a Tipperary Sportage and a Troxel Intrepid. They are both really low profile and don't look bulky at all. The Tipperary has more ventilation so I think it'll definitely be my summer helmet.

Tipperary Sportage or the brand new November 2014 model of the Troxel Dakota!

I have a tipperary and like it a lot. JUST got the Troxel Dakota and I REALLY like it!

It's the lowest profile helmet and lightest that I have ever worn. The adjustment mechanism is neat and MUCh improved over the old style Troxel mushroom helmets. The longer visor is nice too for blocking the sun.

I just bought an IRH helmet the All Terrain Riders model for quite cheap and it's very sporty looking.

I got it through riding warehouse

LOVE my Tipperary Sportage, but I've worn an Ovation and A few styles of Troxels as well. The Troxels just don't fit my head right and give me a headache. The Ovation was really comfy, just not quite as much ventilation as I wanted for summer. The Tipperary is perfect!

Another vote for Tipperary Sportage. I've had mine for years and love it.

I have a Tipperary too. You need to try on the different ones to find what fits your head.

It will depend on the shape of your individual hear, as far as which brand is comfortable.

I have a small oval shaped head. I absolutely love my Tippery Sportage. I tried Troxel in the past and it just hurt my head. I'm led to believe that Troxel fits a more "round head".

If you are able to try on several brands, do it. One brand may be comfortable for one person and not for another.
