When doing a 6-800 pound horse giving full tube is almost a double dose.. Vet said there wouldn't be a reason to double up a dose on a normal horse if hitting them for 5 days.. IDK mades sense to me if one dose kills and all you are trying to do is get the ones that appear and take the place of the ones that already died why would you need to double the dose.. But hes the one with the education so thats what I went with. Its worked just fine.
To do a power pack you need to double dose for 5 days. My horses are way over the 600 to 800 pound mark
And most horses are.....
Mine wasn't he was a very underweight rescue so a double dose was a full syringe.. The information I got was on horses such as this or in poor condition or with a heavy worm load you would want to do the double dose, on horses there were in good condition without a heavy worm load and you just wanted to add a power pack to the roataional wormer the double dose was not really essential, since how the wormer works is the exposer of the wormer to the worm thru a several day period, thus one worm dies another appears out of the intesinal wall you get that on the second, day so on and so forth.. IDK just what was discussed per the vet, made sense to me but everyone has there own way of doing things.
The Power Pack is designed to kill encysted Strongyles
