Yes, but they won't. The WPRA board has tried for years. In their rulebook it says no more than 12 in a rake. NFR is 15. Frustrating.

I don't think the raking after the seven like Fallon is suggesting is going to kill them, but I don't see it happening. I would love to see Flint Rassmussen do a short skit or something in between.

At URA Finals a few years ago, my brother timed each event from start to end. The barrel race took less than 15 minutes total and that included dragging after #5, #10 and a quick cleanup at third barrel after #15. It was not a time waster and the crowd didn't have time to get bored since each drag only lasted about a minute and the announcer could talk or clown could do goofy stuff during that time. I know a few years ago we had a clown do the worm across the arena while they were dragging and the crowd loved it.
