Is it worth it?  I just got my renewal in the mail and I am wondering if the check in much better than regular membership at the finals?  Not that I've ran at the finals, but I can imagine the lines...

Really no difference in the lines....  Cool perks were a free video, picture (and it seems like something else)... maybe open ride time?
Enter the BBR Gold card race. (You're already there, might as well make a run at some good added $$$$).
Can qualify for the finals after 6 races instead of 8.

I think it was worth it. This was my first year to buy one - got a free video and free pic. I went the 1st day to check in and the lines for regular check in were long. i think it depends on when you go. But I got right in got mine numbered and was done.

Oh shoot MS I never took advantage of the free video!  I wonder if I could still get one?

As far as the Gold Membership goes I really like it although I would pefer the Gold race to be a sidepot and not an actual race.  I ran two and one made it back so she ran 4 runs in four days.  It's too much for her especially since she is a bleeder and runs on Lasix(she abscessed on one injection site
).  Like MS said the lines aren't a big deal either way.  BBR has their check in down to a science. It's a great race.

Visworks would let you film the screen from your phone for free on one run.  It's usually $10 to do it and I generally take advantage of it everytime they're at a show.  I was just wandering past and found out I could do it, I don't remember reading it anywhere.  It might've been a very last min decision to do it.

Maybe if they could give you the option to either roll your time, or make a run?  Tough show for a bleeder.  It seems like they've got to come up with a better solution than lasix someday for those ponies.  HOpe she's recovered.

Thanks!  I had forgotten about the free photo and video perk.  The six shows vs. eight is my biggest selling point right now since I haven't made a single one this year.  Not that they're hard to find, just having a hard time getting to back to running!

Huh?  I was under that assumption that you got an actual video.  I never even got a chance to go by their booth.
I'm with you on the Lasix, I wish there was something out there that worked just as well but unfortunately nothing exists.  She recovered from her abscess quite quickly so it wasn't a catastrophe by any means.

I'm a gold member and the only difference was I went to a different check-in line. I love BBR but it's a big price difference and considering no one told me I get a free video and picture kinda upsets me, you'd think they would make sure you know. I even went and looked at my pictures. Darn

I'm pretty sure the picture and video information was mentioned in one of the BBR newsletters-at least I think that was where I saw it.
