| I was wondering the same thing...and afraid to do video coaching as well because having ridden jumpers for half my life and never practicing jumping without my trainer present, I am afraid to see how bad I suck at barrel racing. (But this is something that I already knew.) Also to see if I can remember what they said on my own after the coaching session without having the trainer there yelling at me while I am doing the bad habit or not correcting my horse, etc. |

| I like the idea of it. And the tips and articles I've read on the website are great. I just am afraid to drop $90 and not get a lot out of it. |

Location: Central, Texas | Hi guys, Heather Smith here... funny that I haven't been on BarrelHorseWorld for probably YEARS, but just stopped by to get some info. re: Diamonds & Dirt and HAD to chime in! Lol
I'm having a blast with video coaching, most of the gals who have signed up are more advanced and looking to shave off that last 1/2 second, qualify for their circuit finals, etc.
I plan to update my site with more testimonials eventually. I do send a follow up survey so I can keep improving what I offer and have been getting a lot of enthusiastic, positive feedback.
The coaching I do is an investment I realize, but it's very indepth in that I require a pre-call questionnaire, it includes up to 10 minutes of video footage (this can even be of general riding, behavior issues, but most folks just include runs) and I follow up with an email with notes from our session and links to additional resources, sometimes attach PDFs of exercises, etc. and also included is a followup email exchange for questions that always seem to come up later.
One of the survey questions is "Would you recommend Power Hour video/phone coaching to other barrel racers?"
The answers include: yes ABSOLUTLEY YES! absolutely Of coarse For sure. Already have. Absolutely!!!
Soooo, I don't mean to have crashed the thread but wanted to encourage ya'll to give me a call! I wouldn't be offering it if I wasn't confident I could see some things that would make a difference. :)
I'm a practical person who is careful with spending, but when it comes to educational experiences, it's my intent that even at the price that the Power Hour Video Coaching still translates as a tremendous value... especially considering all the expenses we put into barrel racing as it is - a little bit of time off the clock can take us a long way! Any quesitons, feel free to holler at me - [email protected]

Location: In my own little world | I'd put more money with that $90 and find yourself a great clinic to spend 2 days at instead. But that is just me. |
