| I need a new hat. I've had the same one for about 8 years. Tell me which ones you like for the price and quality. Include pictures if you want! |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | I have had the same Resistol 50X for about 6 years now. (Black Felt) I run in it in the winter and I have never had a problem. I got mine for 30% off wholesale because of where my dad worked.
I wear a palm leaf Sunbody 5 1/2" brim hat in the summer while riding to keep the sun off my face. I paid $20 for it at a thrift store here in town and it's the most comfortable palm leaf hat I've ever worn.
I also have a white Bailey 100X felt hat that I wear for grand entries or parades or special occasions... I love my bailey but i'm not telling how much I spent on that hat LOL it was a splurge. Still got in at a discount but it was still very expensive.
My dad has 4 Bailey 100X felt hats. He had a problem with the liner falling out a few years ago. he sent the company an email requesting to purchase a few and asked for suggestions on where to get the liner put in at. They not only sent him a liner for every Bailey he has ever bought, they sent him boxes to ship the hats in to their shop for them to fix them free of charge. They also GAVE HIM a Bailey 100X hat to wear while his were getting repaired. When he tried to ship their hat back to them they told him to keep it!!! I love Bailey Hat Co. |

| Atwood hats!!! First time in my life I have ever been able to wear a hat WITHOUT a stampede string. YAY! I have a really nice straw one and a palm leaf one that I wear when it rains because it is so easy to reshape. |

Location: East Texas | American..... fit well and hold up good. We have been given hats from several companies and American Hats are the ones we seem to wear the most. In fact my daughter asked for a new hat yesterday and she showed me an American Hat that she wanted. |

Location: Jones, OK | American Straw and Shorty's custom felt!!! Yes both do cost you a little money but they are hands down the best hats out there...you have to make sure that you get a hat that fits good and is comfy or you will not like any of them. |

| Gonna be odd woman out - First, make sure you buy a hat that is the shape of your head, oval or round. Then pick your favorite brand from there!
I personally love my Seratelli - hopefully I can update with a pic later :) |

Feathers aren't really my thing... but maybe if I had a mare I'd be all about it. lol! I just love the "burlap" look.... My husband said that it looks like a ho-bo hat and I said "well, good! Then no one would be tempted to steal it from the hat man if I lose it in the arena!" |
