This may or may not be the right place to ask this, but I saw an advertisement for a product called Deep Penetrating Light Therapy Wrap in a Herrington Catalog for humans. It says"Don't let pain and soreness keep you on the sidelines. Get back in the Game with NASA-Developed Light Therapy Technology. I was just wondering if it would work on horses.

It says it has red and infrared LED in it that deeply penetrate the skin and tissues - enhancing circulation, decreasing painful inflammation and increasing blood circulation to promote tissue repair and recovery.

I say is goes upt to 2 inches deep. This is mot deep enough for a horse.

REVITA VET - They work and I can find peer reviewed journal articles that use this same technology to help mice with ACL tears heal more quickly than the control group that were left to heal with out therapy. I wouldn't bother with another brand.

Maybe, not deep enough for some areas, but plenty deep enough for tendon/ligament injuries in the legs and many other areas of the body.

That's what I was thinking and that is what I was needing it for. And it only costs $199.95. Not arguing, just discussing.
