I really like Strait Firewater- he's by Firewater Flit and goes back to Walter Merrick's great mare, Indian Music on the bottom side. I saw Easy Rose when she was running at Ruidoso and fell in love with her. I'm really not up on the studs these days, but I'm sure you can find something that will cross well with her-
I would be breeding to sell so color could come into play. Heck, I have no idea what I will do with her. I just got to thinker about her today. |

My mare's small, but she's tough and wants to speed through everything. Not the fastest of barrel horses, but she can turn tight! This isn't a very good pic of her because she's woolly! LOL.
She looks even more like my 20 year old PSB gs x DOL grandson. Let me see if I can find a pic of him that is fairly recent. I retired him last year after a friend of mine used him while her mare was recovering from an injury To be honest, I would still run him today but i have younger ones I gotta get to. He is Mr. Dependable. He is a turning fool like your mare but just not super fast.
Couldn't find a recent pic of him... these are his papers.

She's a fun one and so level headed, most of the time. SHe can have her spooky days, but I think all of them can. Here's my mare's papers: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/reds+foxxe+lady+bug |

He is a neat little horse. He stands here locally now and Lazy Susan Ranch is doing a great job promoting him. Kaycee is in Tyler if you want to look at him. |

I got to meet him briefly when Kacey brought him with her when we all had lunch in Tyler. He was very quiet and is a big boned guy. Very nice! Of course his color is magnificent. |

| My PSB Gd bucked when she was younger if she felt good. She hasn't in years (knock wood). Once she got going she has been so much fun. A little bit of a slow starter though, she definitely makes you prove yourself.
I was riding her in the pasture last week & a tarp had blown from our place & gotten stuck in the trees on the fenceline. I stopped her, got the tarp, and drug it back home and she didn't bat an eye. She is really quick & athletic too. I just love her. |

Nice she has grown out of the bucking(cross fingers) and the tarp would have thrown my Perks Alive into a heart attack. I was riding her on the trail the other day and decided to take my jacket off...IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST MONSTERS EVER ENCOUNTERED BY LUCY! She bolted and I got her under control but I did not want to put my jacket back on so I stopped her and got off and when I went to just tie the jacket to my waste she shot off like a rocket and pulled the reins out of my hand and back to the barn she headed. We had to take a few moments in the arena to get to know the scary black jacket. |

Location: on my horse | every single Peppy San Badger I've had or ridden has had one hell of a buck but lined out beautifully after giving them a job. My new mare is included in the bucking line of PSB horses, she's just polite enough to get it out in the turnout pen and hasn't done anything under saddle |

Thanks Bibs! I might have to ship her off to you. It's nice to know your boy turned out just fine. Gives me some hope. |

Dang I dread the point in between. She was a pretty good cutter(just wanted to move things along too quickly) according to the trainer and I think you were on point when saying if they have a J-O-B they are much happier. I think I will send her to my colt starter and see if he can get her to focus. She did have a pretty sore foot the last time I brought her up but dang I hate when a BUCK is what tell us, "Hey, that hurts!" She also had sore hocks but wanted to wait for the foot to heal before doing anything about the hocks. It has been about 9 mos since I had her up so I'll get her back to my lameness vet and see what we can fix and then she will most likely have a job to concentrate on. Wish me luck! |

Midnight was considered the greatest bucking horse ever. He was never ridden- champion bronc rider Pete Knight rode him the longest- 7 seconds in an exhibition ride when Midnight was 15. He is now buried on the grounds of the Cowboy Hall of Fame in OKC. There is a bronze statue of him unloading a cowboy on the western side of the Will Rogers Complex in Ft. Worth. |
