Location: Somewhere around here | Even though our baby isn't here yet I find myself wanting to look at childrens saddles and wondering which online places sell the best one to fit different types of horses back. Any suggestions? Also, any tips for a new mom on buying a kids saddle and making it last? |

| Ditto on the corriente saddles. They were the best for the money when I was looking for our grandson's first saddle and after he had outgrown it I was able to sell it for more money than I had given for it new. |

| I like Corriente saddles as well. Very well made for the price. I wish I could remember what my daughter's saddle is. My mom bought it off of Ebay and it is a company I had never heard of. I was hesitant when she said she said she bought it. I love the ground seat in it and it looks pretty nice. I have several people ask me what it was because they thought it was a Caldwell. I will get the name of it for you today. |

| How do the Corriente youth saddles fit a horse?
Someone on here had mentioned that they liked Jeff Smith Saddles, and when I went to the website they had youth saddles for ~$900. They all show sold right now, and I've not seen them in person, but they look nice.

| I like the way the Corrientes fit, both adult and kids. My sister has three trophy saddles we use almost daily and have never sored a horse. The three little ones I know who rode/ride them all fit good too. |

| Thank you, that's good to know. I've been looking for a saddle for the kids, but I'd hate make their horse sore just to get a saddle that fit them. |

Exactly!! I'd rather make my kid learn to ride bareback more than just buy a kids saddle cause it will fit the kid and not the horse. |

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | Billy Cook/sulpher oklahma. Their kids saddles will fit a full size quarter horse. They are made with full quarter horse bars. I bought one for my daughter. We were able to use it on her welsh pony without issues and when she competed on my horse it fit him like it should. Very well made and you won't lose money on it once it is out grown. |
