Looking for a new breastcollar that stays out of my horses shoulders way & movement. I like how both of them curve but I'm unsure which one would be the "better" choice. Suggestions?

I think I like the style of the second collar best.  And you can use a wither strap to make sure it stays pulled up.

You can always use a regular breast collar and attach a wither strap to it to raise it up off of the shoulders. That's what I do.

I don't mind the idea of using a whither strap but I try to use as minimal amount of tack as possible.

As long as the breast collar is adjusted properly on the horse you shouldn't need a wither strap.

I like the second on. You only need a wither stocking stuffer a very narrow horse where the breast collar hangs way down.

The breast collars that are really out of the way would be a pulling type of collar, This is what I used on one of my horses its a Sharon Camarillo and really like these.

I like these breastcollars also but had problem with my one gelding breaking the strap connecting to the saddle. He did it twice on the same side.

Buy a saddle with the rings set higher or take it to a saddlemaker and have them adjust them up. I had mine set up on my saddles.
