I have a triple creek that I love! My question is do you place the saddle on or behind the shoulder?

I would always put mine on my horse and just barely tighten the cinch. I'd finish getting everything on her then walk her a few feet to the arena or wherever I was going to ride. The saddle would move into it's "sweet spot" and I'd tighten the cinch from there. It was definitely more behind the shoulder bc I always thought they had a little bit of flare to the bars.

I do mine the same way. I use a 5 Star pad and tighten my cinch in a couple small stages. I think it rests behind her shoulders.

Same here. The first few rides I put on my new Triple Creek I put it on my horses shoulders and it swept back a few inches, into his own "sweet spot". Ever since then I kept it right there and it does great! Really seemed to free his shoulders up.
