I have never seen hail this size in my life and I'm OLD!! I'm thinking my truck is going to have some dents.... Glad I still have full coverage!

Yeah, I didn't think we were supposed to have severe weather yesterday.  My weather radio app went off with a thunderstorm watch while I was riding, but it was such a beautiful day, I thought it must be coming in later, so I turned 2 of them out in the pasture with no barn access while I went to get kids at school.  On the way there, we got a tornado warning for home--the storm had a reported tornado on the ground and 3" hail.  I'm glad there weren't any troopers out on that road...   Luckily, the bad part missed our house, but I have some scary pics from neighbors taken nearby, and we got a bunch of hail on the farm where we were planting corn.  Which is now flooded and all the equipment is still there.  Blah.

This was on the ground across the river when the warning went off.

And this one was on our side.

Had hail like that here before. It came through the skylights in the barn. Wacked the red heeler dog that we had who was in the barn, ruined him for life everytime it stormed after that. Had a horse turned out that day, tried to get him to come in before the storm got here, he refused and ran away from me. Needless to say, he got pelted by the hail balls. He was not a happy camper in the storm but he comes to me when he is called now!!!

Good gracious that's a big bad storm. I couldn't stand to live there in the open and watch it come at me. (Love my tall pine trees!)

Luckily all seems OK only a few minor dents on my truck and the horses don't seem any worse for wear... Neighbors had windows knocked out of thier trucks... I'm blessed that I didn't get anything worse.

Rodeodelux - what kind of dog is the one here on your profile picture? My Izzybear looks a lot like yours but I found her so I am not sure of her breeding. Trying to attach a picture of her.
