Expert Posts: 1898	We have been looking for a pony FOREVER! I am on the West Coast and seems like everything is back East. We are contemplating having one shipped. I have never ever considered this in the past so I have no idea what transportation costs. Does anyone know what rates are?

If it's a green pony that will be going into training with an adult that is a different story. We stand a Welsh stallion and sell green ponies but I would never feel comfortable selling a pony directly to a child rider. To many variables go into compatability between pony and child.

Don't worry! Never in a MILLION years would I buy a pony without seeing it in person, unless I had a representative who I knew personally going to look at it for me. Ponies are tricky and that is why we have been looking for the right one for over a year!
