LQ battery

I posted this in the horse trailer forum but I thought it would get more views and hopefully more replies here.
We are needing to replace the battery on our LQ trailer. It will not start the generator unless we have the truck hooked up to jump it. So yes it is time for some new ones...lol. We are debating if we should maybe go with a deep cycle marine battery this time? We need it to start the generator but also when the generator is not being used the battery needs to be able to power the lights. That is why were are thinking a deep cycle may be the way to go. Will a deep cycle have enough to fire the generator up without a problem? Also we are leaning towards AC Delco Voyager. Is that a good brand to go with? My husband likes AC Delco so he would like to stick with that brand. Thanks!

always deep cycle, they are made to charge and discharge many times over before being used up.
AC is fine

I have 2 batteries that run my lights and stuff. My generator has its one battery so if my others die the generator will always start

I can't tell you brands, but we replaced my 2 batteries with 1 truck battery. Works amazing.

I use deep cycle for the 2 at the front of the trailer. I use one good car battery for the generator at the back.

My husband is worried that the deep cycle won't have enough cold cranking amps to fire the generator. The battery we have now is shot. We cannot fire the gen with the button inside the LQ. We have to start it manually and even then usually we have to use the truck to jump the battery. It gives us enough juice to jack the trailer up and down, run the lights for quite awhile but when it comes to firing the generator it is useless.

I've only used deep cycle batteries. I've tried different brands and IMO NAPA has the best batteries.
