We came down to look at a horse and its pouring rain and every pen we are finding is flooded. Anyone have suggestions of a covered pen we could rent some arena time? We are in Clinton/Lake City area at moment but willing to travel.

Roane State has a covered arena or you can come east to Rural Mount Arena.

Roane State covered pen would be your best bet I would say.

TN QH show will likely have trail set up at Roane states outdoor but on Sunday they start to pack it up. I pm'd you and can send you contacts for rural mount to make sure there's no roping practice. Tri-C farms had a rodeo last night and their arena is hard to find and in Seiverville
(where rid runs is this weekend
) but can give you contact info for it as well. Bristol race and rod runs is in gatlinburg so traffic might get heavy.

If you are in Clinton, then try Sport Horse Arena. The address is 500 Miller Road, Clinton, TN I believe the phone number is 865-360-9492. You might want to call and check with them first but I know of some barrel racers that went and rode in their indoor arena this winter.

Thank You everybody. We are at Roane U. In Harriman. There is a QH show going on, but all the jumping classes are over and the covered pen is empty. Hard to believe some of these are registered QH's.
