Silver Creek Special?

Has anyone ever owned any of his offspring? All I know is that he is closely related to Strawfly Special, and he is unraced with a small foal crop.
If you've had one of his foals, what were they like? This particular horse I'm looking at is out of a daughter of Takin On The Cash, if that helps any...thanks
Also, what's everyone's experience with ex race horses? Pretty easy to work with, or hot?

Well im going to assume youre located in AZ.
I'm familiar with SCS and his foals.
Most of his offspring are pretty chill and laid back. If i recall they didnt do much on the track.
He was not a very well known sire. Many studs who never run or run poorly rarely ever make anything of them selves.
I also have a feeling i know which horse you're looking at.
Off the track horses and their "ease" vary by their temperament and how they were handled or aloud to get away with. In general they are great to deal with as they have been hauled, They know what hard work is, they have been handled extensively, and when the time comes they know how to really open up on a pattern.
The tough part usually comes with getting them to collect up and not be in run mode. But not all are like that.
I personally LOVE horses off the track. Specifically QHs
