Extreme Veteran Posts: 371	I have a two day old foal that had oranish/yellow thin pasty stools her first day. She is doing great, nursing well, and playing. My question is how do I get the poop out of her tail!?! I have been keeping desitin on her bum to keep it from getting burned. More bootie than waist! Posts: 18425 Location: Riding Crackhead.	Don't worry about it and leave it alone IMO. It'll come out on its own. She'll get loose poop again when the mare goes into heat.

Blessed Location: Here	I have found that Dr. Bonners castle soap. available at health food stores. mixed with warm water gets baby poop gone very easily and it is not harsh. It is coconut oil, almond oil, etc
