What Name? Posts: 1994	Grr I have this awesome video of my chickens where I caught one of those annoying may fly bugs that look like mosiquitoes that keep getting into the house... LOL they go into a little feeding frenzy. Little fluff balls love them!

Extreme Veteran Posts: 490	Ive been soooo good this year. Until Saturday. Went to the local chicken sale and bought 2 production red hens that are laying and 8 silver laced Wyandotte chicks. Then went to TSC yesterday and they had specialty lakenvelders. There were only 3 left and they twisted my arm to buy 3 brahmas so I met the minimum number. I lost 1 of the wyandottes last night. But the other 13 are doing great. Hopefully their not all roo's!!!!!! I love chickens. Before we moved we had around 30 ducks and chickens. My heelers are leaving them alone too!

What Name? Posts: 1994	Just wanted to post some videos. I meant to post the one a while back, but of course got super busy and spaced. The first video is three weeks ago! The second one is from today. Finished the coop last week. It's alittle redneck, but it'll work. Going to put some next boxes and roosting perches in it eventually. I finally can tell what my baneys are. I have two roosters and 4 hens. They're inquisitive little things. LOL and BOOOOLD. I have a feeling the little things may have 'little man' complex... and I've heard they can be little terds if they're aggressive. So far mine are just watchers. Though if I turn my back to them they run up following my footsteps lol

What Name? Posts: 1994	Mine defintely have some personality. HA HA I'm going to be buying a pyernese pup soon to raise with them for a bit. Then when we get cattle he'll be with the cattle. But I need something to keep the coyotes at bay.

Serious Snap Trapper Posts: 4275 Location: In The Snow, AZ	Our first incubating session ended up with a bad hatch rate. Only three hatched, two survived. Second time around we hatched out 13 healthy little fuzz balls. It was such a neat experience. Trying to attach pics... But my phone is apparently MUCH smarter than I am..
