AQHA/APHA breeding paperwork question

My friend has two nice APHA mare's that she'd like to breed to my guy, who is AQHA. What is the process I need to take to get him APHA eligible? How does all that work? I've never dealt with paints so I have no idea.
I have called APHA but got the run around. So I figured this might be a good place to ask.

APHA will list him as a stallion. Go to the APHA website and under their forms are the forms for the Stallion Listing and the breeding report. My guy has been bred to 4 APHA mares this year, so I'm doing the same thing. You'll also have to become an APHA member
