Elite Veteran Posts: 618	What can I use to mix up/dissolve the crushed pills that won't compromise the integrity of the drug? It's extremely bitter in just water, trust me I know I accidentally got it in my mouth.

Funny you should ask...I spent lots of time mixing it with apple sauce, aloe vera juice, etc...then I figured out if you just drop the actual whole pills in pelleted food, they'll eat it right up! At least my 2 did, and still are :)

Elite Veteran Posts: 927 Location: Iowa	I don't know about dissolving it but mix up the crushed meds in applesauce and cut the end of a plastic syringe off and squirt it in their mouth.

Elite Veteran Posts: 618	Thank you ! I don't feed grain only a ration balancer and alfalfa so top dressing isn't an option. I'm gonna try the apple sauce.
