| We are building a house on the property where we live. We started construction back in September, I have 6 dogs that have had no problems with any of the workers, they will approach barking but it quickly turns to tail wagging and petting. There is one guy who is here with the stone crew who gives me the creeps, he is strange-stops working and will stare at me the whole time I am over there. One of the labs has been gone with my son, they just came home today my son and his dog walked over to look at the house, our dog immediately started growling at this guy, hair up on neck- very aggressive, pinned the guy up against the wall, my son had to pull him off of him. This is the first time our dog has done that and the first time he has seen this guy. I think I will put him on a leash and take him with me anytime I go over there as long as that guy is here :). |

I've told this story before here but to sum it up my 10 year old Boxer has never met a stranger and he has been all over the place. The only person he has ever flat out not liked from the get go was a 8-9 year old boy. I had to put the dog on a leash because he was acting so weird with the kid, and I was seriously worried he was going to go after the kid. He would stand in a doorway and growl and dare the kid to come through, whether the kid was going in or out it didn't matter. This dog is my shadow and I can call him away from anything, he would not listen to me when it came to this kid. I would have to physically pull him by the collar to get him to go where I wanted him to go. A few weeks in to the kid coming around we went outside when we heard yelling and that boy had a knife pulled on my son. Talking about how he was going to stab him blah blah blah. I always thought the kid was weird, and didn't like that my dog didn't like him but then again I thought maybe my dog was getting old and senile lol. The things the kid was saying to my son and his friend... that kid was bad news and never allowed over again.
Oh and I will also add, my cousin came into town to visit at around the same time that kid was coming over. He looked a lot like the kid my dog didn't like. Same age, same hair style and color, even built about the same. I was worried my dog was going to act the same with him... nope he knew the difference. Even when both boys were there at the same time, he only disliked the bad news kid, and loved my little cousin.

If I were you I and my husband would be having a talk with his boss, if this creep stops working to stare at you the whole time you are out there this would scare the crud out of me, I would not want him back on my place at all. |
