| Who has a Rare Bar horse? What are your opinions on them? Likes? Dislikes? Looking at one right now that is super nice but was wanting some input on anyone that owns them.
Thank you in advanced :) |

| Hope Lauren sees this. She picked up a Rare Bar off of Craig's list while looking for one for her mother. She was cheap and 3D. Lauren had a feeling about her, made the purchase, fixed some physical issues and has set a couple of arena records. They came across a young rare bare mare, bought for her younger sister, she is a nice mare too. |

Location: In the saddle enjoying the East Texas sky | Love them. Athletic and level headed although they can be ornery sometimes. But I like a little fire in mine... |

Location: Where its cold and hot | Absolutely love them! I have 2 daughters and one colt out of his last crop along with several grand get. I'm a bit of a rare bar hoarder. They are wicked fast along with the ability to sink their butts in the ground in the blink of an eye. Some can be spooky at stupid things but they grow out of it. Beautiful horses, baby doll head, pencil necks, cover the ground like a hunt seat horse and athletically built. |

| I have a 7 year old daughter. I absolutely adore her! She's smart, she can fly, but can turn out from under me. She has the best disposition and is put together really nice. I would have a dozen of her if I could! |

| I have 2 daughters. They are both very level-headed. They are gentle giants. My 5 year old is at least 16 hands and thick, and although I don't think my 3 year old will get that tall she's still going to be big. I ran against a daughter of his for years and finally decided I better get one of my own! I also know of a gelding running right now that did very well at the college level and is also doing well at the pro level. So glad I got my girls before he passed away. |

| Awesome! I like what I'm reading! I just bought one & he is sweet as can be. Big puppy dog attitude but can be a little spooky at times but I think that's just him being a baby. (4yo) Anyone else have a Rare Bar they want to share their stories with me please? Thanks a bunch!! |

Bunny was my craigslist mare and she is by Strawflyin Buds. Her name sounds like she's a Rare Bar because it has Rare in it, but its because her dam is by Rare Form.
We do have TWO Rare Bars, but our #1 Rare Bar mare is my sister's mare Hope. her name is Ole Rare Hope, and she was just as nice of a deal as the craigslist mare. She's won the entire 1D before with my sister, won reserve champ in the open 1D for GCBRA in 2014 and won the youth 1D saddle last year. She's currently leading both the open and youth standings right now. Ole Rare Hope was previously jockeyed by Lyndsey Eller and she has a record of about 25,000 in barrel earnings she's had.
As far as conformation, I can pick out a Rare Bar from a mile away. To me, they all have a signature hip. I have seen REALLY tall ones and then short ones like ours. Our mare Hope is 15.0 h. Hope is plain headed but has a good frame, balanced conformation, and great feet. Our other mare Sky has a prettier head, a little more height, but isn't as heavily boned as hope is.
I wouldn't describe them as jaw droppingly flashy...but they are phenomenal athletes. If you want pretty, long hair, "my little pony" look, may not be the horse for you.. but if you want a competitor.. I have no complaints. |

Location: Nebraska | I've owned two. Both were awesome horses and would own another. Only thing both of mine had extremely sensitive skin. I had to be careful what saddle pads, cinches I used with them and careful with fly sprays etc. Not sure if it was a Rare Bar thing or an odd considence. |

Location: Montana | We have a 4 yr old stallion (Bart) sired by Rare Bar and out of a Zevi granddaughter with a SI 107 that did very well barrel racing until she was injured. Bart is super smart and athletic. He is very calm and quiet while being eager to learn. We have his first colt (dun) this year that is the one that catches everyone's attention. |

| I have an own son of Rare Bar out of a daughter of Beduino. He is a nice gelding...super talented and fast! A lot of people are negative about the beduino blood lines but I would have to be positive on them! GOOD lUCK! |
