| I realize Moon Lark is an older bloodline but I was hoping to come across someone with some experience with the Moon Lark bloodlines. I have a few babies out of my mare who is a granddaughter of Moon Lark. They are good but TOUGH horses so I was hoping to get some information from anyone that has had experience with this bloodline. They are all by different studs but have their Mama's grit so I am thinking that it must be something to do with the Moon Lark in them as I have heard stories that they were rank. |

| Love moon larks but the best you will find now days is a gandget unless it's real old. Especially like ot see it on the maternal side.

Location: NW. Florida | I have a granddaughter too, she is by Special Show that I've bred to a Sun Frost son two times. She raises me super nice babies. This year I bred her to El Scorcho and the verdict is out on, if she took. I've got my fingers crossed. |

I have a Moon Lark daughter. She is 19 this year and in foal to Firewater Finale. Granted, her foals are grand get, and I hope to get a few more from her. |

| I have a mare by Neomosha moon (a daughter of moon lark) and she is hardy, she is very tough and she will work a hole in the ground. BUT she is a turd. A big major turd. For this reason, she is a broodmare. I can't beg myself to get along with her but my mother loves her so her only way of earning her keep was to make babies. She is a pretty mare. 14.2 1100# as wide as she is tall with a dainty little head. |

Location: Southern California | I have a gelding out of a daughter of moon lark. He's big, and extremely talented and fast (in the process of getting together lol) he's an absolute sweetheart to be around but can be a little spooky sometimes and the only time he's ever bucked was when I first got him and on accident gave him too much grain for a few days. He's a tough horse and can go all day long. |

| I've only ridden one that I can recall. His dam was a dtr of Moon Lark and this horse was incredibly quiet, calm, and willing to do anything I asked. I rode him for some people for several weeks but I really liked him a lot. The most vivid thing I remember, I was walking him around our pasture at the time (maybe 10 acres) and my neighbor set off a bunch of fireworks without warning and I was right next to his fence line I heard the "swoosh" as the fireworks went up and I thought I was sure to die. This horse never flinched, he just looked up for a split second and went right back to minding his business. He was loaded with sense. |
