Location: Bandera, TX | I have been to a lot of their races over the past 10 years. Always enjoyed going there. However, I haven’t been in over a year as my main horse is hurt. I’m in desperate need to get out of town, and I’m planning to take my other horse to their July race. They posted the draw for this coming weekend’s race and they hardly have any runners. Not even 100 per day have pre-entered. What’s up with that? It seems that entries there over the past couple of years have declined but never that low. Anybody know what’s going on? Or is it just the Texas heat that keeps people away?

 Own It and Move On
Location: The edge of no where | I'm not sure... I went to several last year and thought the ground was better than it had been in years. The races were well run and had great added money. Same deal in Jan. Haven't been anywhere for 2 months because of an injured horse, but I sure hate not to be entered there. I'm hoping they get lots of late entries...super nice people and do a great job producing. |

I agree - good money, love the day money, now they even give "crack" money. I find it odd thet not more enter. Sad really. |

Location: TX | Seems like the last few CC5D races have been scheduled the same time as another big race in Glen Rose or somewhere close and that drew away some of the entries. Remember that TONS of people enter late. I think the last race had about 600 entries total. I believe that these races will continue to get bigger now that people are starting to realize that these races are ran better and the ground is better than it's been in a while! |

Location: TX | Another thing is that the last race was during the time we were getting all that rain and CRAZY storms.. I felt like that had kept some people from coming.. |

Sadly - I can't enter anything other than a foot race right now (and I'd limp doing that)..... or I'd definitely be there!
It will be a great race! |

| Weather in Stephenville has just been so crappy- I would late enter myself and just see what the weather brings- with that said, I also love running there- I love the ground and the professionalism of those who run the race. |

Location: Texas | The ground was horrible last time I was there last year... That's what kept me from entering, lots of people going to wbra Saturday.. I thought about CC5D and would have gone if there wasn't another race. Lots of people are probably waiting to pre enter since the weather has been bad. |
