Does anyone know of any trainers that actually train the roll back style and offer lessons? Preferably an established professional? Tia!

Lynn Mckenzie's style works on many rollback horses. Ed Wright really helped my sister. She only rides rollback horses and was hitting on the backside leaving the barrel and Ed really helped her.

We can try to influence a horse and their style, but ultimately, I think they go with their own.  Just like riders - we can "ride" whatever, but when those entry fees are paid, you ride your own natural style.  The key is to have the horse and riders style fit.  Riding a roll back style is different.  I currently have a roll back style horse right now and have ridden a few over the years.  They are an adjustment.

Kim Thomas trains to a classic roll back style. She gives lessons and clinics.

I am looking for help for myself. I am new to
The roll back style and I am finding my second
Barrel to be challenging and I feel I am hindering my horse.
Looking for help working with her style not changing her style if that makes sense.
She is clocking in the 1d but I feel there is a lot of room for
Improvement especially for myself.

I still say Ed Wright. He knew the rollback style and helped my sister based on the horse's style which was a rollback style. I won't go back to one of his clinics, but my sister loves his clinics and the horses she rides are rollback horses. At the time the horse was working fine, he helped my sister with her riding.

I think Ed Wright will be @ Circle L in Ochelata, OK sometime in the next month or two, maybe Nov.
