Consignment horses?

Does anyone take in horses to train / tune up and sell. How do you go about it? What do you charge? A percentage of the sale price plus monthly ride time? I've been asked to take in some horses for a few people recently and want to charge fairly for all involved. Thank You.

In my experience you pay the monthly training rate plus 10% of the sale price.

Agree with above and also take in consideration if you will be entering the horse. As many races as I go to, if I am entering one, I will eat up all of my monthly charge in entry fees alone, so I either work out that owner pays fees, or just charge more per month for the hauling/seasoning.
