With God all things are possible

| How do your respond when you are doing your best to live for The Lord, yet it seems everything is going against me? How do you handle it when others are ridiculing you? I have examined my life, my heart, and my motives and see nothing that would cause this to happen but it is! Like in psalm 44 , I call out to God and tell Him that I haven't sinned against His commands and I haven't been acting deceitfully but have been walking in obedience. do you remind God and yourself that you are aware He would know if you were focused on something besides serving Him?
In the midst of his questioning Psalm 44 :22 yet for Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep in slaughter. Verse 22 acknowledges that suffering is part of serving God. But why? Sometimes people say " we will never know until we get to heaven " I'm not sure we will care in heaven! But back to "now".
I hit two barrels Saturday the third horse went down to her belly on first. I went home to shake it off, went back Sunday, hit barrel on one and won two checks on the others. As I was going to get on the second horse a lady and her dog, and small child was in doorway I had to go through . Said ma'am please move from doorway, I proceeded to ride through her little girl was walking in front of me, I said honey move over to side , watch the horses, well the lady went off on me said this was not the alley, and I didn't have right to ask them to move. This doorway is only way in and out of arena area. I said ma'am this is the only way for me to go to my other horses , understand I was number 2 and number 9 in novice so I was trying to get one unbridled and Halters to get other one ready by the next drag. She followed me as I was do this horse change. She reminded me I was the one that told her daughter on Saturday to move out of alley way of arena so ones going and in coming out wouldn't run over her. I said by then getting mad, yes ma'am I told her and let's to watch alley way to prevent an accident we can't see coming out of arena it is enclosed. She then proceeded to tell me if her daughter got hurt it would be on her . People I blew up! I said what about the other person she in endangering also???? She said I was being mouthy , I told her sternly she better move on get out of my face. I got on my other novice horse very upset that I didnt handle it better. I got finished with barrel runs went help set up poles notice her daughter running poles, I left went home. I prayed for forgiveness for not handling the situation better, cried a few tears for not setting the example of being the Christian I am. My heart was in the right place for the safety for her daughter and others .
Still little upset with my self this morning, for letting a woman with NO Clue push my buttons
Father guide me today to do all things to bring glory and honor to You AMEN

Location: East Texas | You were trying to keep her daughter from getting hurt and you did nothing wrong. I think sometimes when things like this happen, God uses this time to give us just a little glimpse into how Jesus suffered for us for things he didn’t do wrong. Count it as joy that you have suffered as He did, learn from what you already realize about how you handled the situation, and continue to allow God to use you in ministering to us on BHW every day! Learn and go forward! May God continue to bless you! |

| Don't beat yourself up about it. It would've been very hard to handle it the way you did! You tried and maybe she just needed someone to get nasty with her to get the gist. Your intentions were in the right place and it's good to stand up like that as you're trying to keep everyone safe. Prayers |

We all do and say things that we wish we hadn't. All we can do as Believers Is ask God for Forgiveness, for Guideance and for another oppurtunity to show His love. Amen. |

We are all a work in progress... It will not end until our Father calls us home. I tell people all the time... Don't think too much of me because at some point I will disappoint you. And it is the absolute truth. Loving God/Jesus doesn't make us fool proof, we are still human and have to work everyday to keep our Spirit walking ahead of our flesh. The nice thing about that walk is that we recognize when we are quick to anger or when we allow our flesh to lead the way... we ask for forgiveness and we are forgiven... not only are we forgiven, but we are wiser as well. :)

| you handled it much better than I would have. If people follow me to continue yelling and engaging me as I retreat...that's when it gets a little bit western. I definitely need God's forgiveness for my past. You handled it well. Sorry you had to go through that. |

But, you can't reason with hard headed individuals. You handled it fine. You asked God to forgive you and HE
did. Keep on keeping on. |

But you always post such inspirational and uplifting threads, that I bet you handled it with much more class and dignity than you're giving yourself credit for!
