Location: KS | So Im just curious, those of you that have little girls.....
I have a just 7 year old step daughter, which I absolutely love, we get along great. She showed up this past weekend wearing a bra, I honestly didn't know they made bras this small. Now tell me what is the object of this? Does a soon to be second grader really need to be wearing bras?
Im sure she didn't make this decision on her own, so mothers of little girls please enlighten me.
No offense met here. |

| Oh my. I didn't start to wear one until I was 14 and probably didn't really need it then but all my friends had them so. Do you think she NEEDS one? Seems awfully young. |

Location: KS | No she is a tall skinny little girl who will probably not need one when she is 14 either. I didn't start wearing one until JR High school, and yes I think it was bc my friends were wearing them. I asked her if her friends were wearing them (even though its summer and she not around all her girlfriends) she said she didn't know.....so I guess Ill be prepared for shaved legs next weekend. :) |

Location: Texas | My granddaughter who is 9 has been wearing one off and on since she was 8. I say off and on because somedays she wears it and and somedays she doesn't. The new will probably wear off in a while. |

| Depends what kind of bra we are talking about under wire or little cotton sports bra. I HAD to wear a bra in 3rd grade. I actually have a school picture when I did not and it was gross. Im a 100 pound gal I just developed in that way faster and I'm not even "gifted" . My daughter is only 1 1/2 ad I wouldnt think twice at even 5 puting a cotton sport bra cammy type thing on her if her clothes kept slipping or somthing of that effect but an under wire..... No |

| I started wearing a little cotton one/sports bra when I was around 10 or 11! But I don't have very much either. Lol. I still remember my dad asking my twin sister and I "why do you have two shirts on??" and my step aunt telling him, "they're growing up Casey". He kinda just walked away...poor dad. Lol |

Location: LaBelle, Florida | My daughter started wearing them a couple years ago and she is about to turn 11..probably between 8 and 9 years of age. However, my daughter is not one of those little skinny minnies either. She is of the tall and stout variety. |

| Um no... I have a seven year old and she isn't even close to needing a bra and I won't be buying her one either. When she needs it she'll have it but not before. She needs to be worrying about who she's going to play with not what bra to wear. And I'm sooo not ready for her to be wearing bras!!! |

Your not alone. I teach preschool now. Have for almost 8 years. You wouldn't beloved how many times I have seen this. Had a mom one time that actually brought a pack of panty liners and put in her daughters cubby. |
