Ok so I am seasoning my gelding and he has gotten better with every run (great feeling). The only thing that is starting to come up is that he feels stuck on the backside, most likely rider error. What can I do to help him straighten out and finish a little snappier.

Remember I dont know much and without video....

When my daughter was having this problem it was because she wasnt pushing her horse far enough and or hard enough past the barrel so the horse would have to take an extra weird type step out and around the barrel to finish it off.

Without seeing a video, I would say pay attention to where the riders hips and shoulders are facing and also where the horses' chest is facing while exiting the barrel. Just being more aware of the mechanics while turning will help you figure out what needs to happen.
