I'm looking for a vet that is good at finding a mystery lameness. Honnas, Fitzgerald?

I like Honnas, but Brian Fitzgerald will take more time with them and figure out the problem. Hes great.

Who all have you tried so far? I do like Honnas, and Brazos Valley in Navasota, even went to Marty Tanner in Elgin. I really liked them all....BUT I seem to always go back to Dr Hall in Dayton. We call him our witch dr! LOL! He is not afraid to think outside the box and will try different things to get your horse sound. Never tried Fitzgerald, but I have heard good things about him.

Keep them coming.

Honnas is quite a haul for me. Fitzgerald is closer and I've heard good things about him. I've been to Dr. Hall, but not with horse. I would have to take a whole day off for Dr. Hall. It's about a 2 hour drive from here.

Elgin is even further but in my case it would have saved me thousands of dollars if I would have gone to him first.

I would go see Dr. Hall in Dayton.

Dr. Danny Dutton of ESMS Houston Field Medicine. He's found all my weird stuff for me. I love brazos valley for sure but Dr. Dutton has always been good to me. He's 100% ambulatory.

He's not the cheapest vet out there but he's good. I've heard great things about Fitzgerald too, in fact he and Dr. Dutton are friends.

Dr hall is my go to for everything. I have used him for 12 years at least (possibly longer)
If I had to go elsewhere I'd go to thoni in Kilgore. He did the vet check on 3 for me in one day which narrowed down my decision. He was honest and thorough.
I haven't used the others so I couldn't give an honest opinion about them, all would be hearsay.
