Location: Oregon | I am not savvy. Anyone have suggestions? Hints? Other than paying my first born? Am I just going to have to accept balcony? I have already signed up on nfrexperience but those are just balcony seats. Any help/knowledge would be appreciated.

| I feel your pain. I was told by a Thomas and Mack employee that MOST plaza level seating are season ticket holders. Even if a season ticket holder gives up his/her seats, the general public is not in line for those; they go to the next person on the season ticket holder waiting list or they move an existing season ticket holder down a row, per say. Only other way is to buy from a season ticket holder who sells on NFRExperience, StubHub, etc...some reseller. The best and most affordable way to get seats is directly from the Thomas and Mack/ UNLV when they go on sale, which in 2014 was in June. You can order by phone or the website. OR if you're a gambler you can't wait until you get to Vegas and see what's available through the ticket exchange at Cowboy Christmas. I know we all would like to sit close at the NFR, but honestly, if you haven't been almost every seat is a GOOD seat; even the balcony. Trust me, I've sat at the VERY top. It's a pretty small place. I hope I've been able to help you! | |

| We are just regular folk....depending on what you want to spend, we've had some pretty good luck out front before the performance with folks selling....some are family/friends of contestants, some are scalpers, but whatever, we've had some pretty good plaza seats over the years. Now, don't expect to get 4 together, or maybe even 2 together. One year, my friend and I were out front and our husbands caved early and sat together, she and I held out. I got I think 8th row plaza during the bareback for $10. But, be aware, it's a crap shoot, it's a pain to get there and if you don't get tickets, then get a cab back.
Good luck, hope to be there this year just like the 20 years before ~!

Location: Somewhere in N.C. | I have purchased mine through Desert Tickets and always got what we wanted, but of course had to pay. they have plaza seats available too, but you will pay for them. We sat in the balcony for the first time this year and I would rather pay another $100 to sit in the plaza. You just feal like you are a part of the action more than a spectator. If I couldn't get plaza seats, I would rather watch from big screens at the hotels.

| In fact, I also very confused on this issue.
I sought many ways to solve this problem, but have failed!
But some people answer it, and I am very grateful!
