Edited to say - People who hurt animals, old people and children are the worse human beings there are and I don't give a toot what happens to them. They deserve nothing.

What is just as sick, is the people who let them out. The people in charge who think of these stupid classes for them to take. |

Our Justice System needs a lot of work. Political Correctness needs to go out the window so we can do the "right" thing, not the "least offensive to the masses" thing.
......off of the soapbox now........

The parole board (which probably doesn't comment on every case) came out and stated that due to the official type of crime she was convicted for...they had no say in the matter as to if she is released or not. she simply will be paroled when she is eligible. sounds like they are saying that they wouldn't let her out if they had a say in the matter...
quote from article.."The Parole Board's statement noted that the offense for which Jackson was convicted was "nondiscretionary," meaning there is no legal authority for the board to deny parole. The board may only "stipulate a course of action to be completed prior to release."" |

Correct... in other words, due to the type of conviction, they cannot refuse her parole.
Good luck to her... I personally would feel safer in jail if I were in her shoes. |

| What a joke......she was sentenced to two consecutive 5 year sentences...she served 3. WOW....
Our justice system is a complete disaster. I have no feelings for people like her whatsoever. She is evil.
This is the "liberal" way....make her take a thinking class and let her out.......dumb |

It's really bizarre how we have people on each end of the spectrum when it comes to animal abuse. Some people look at it as it's just an animal and others go overboard like in the lion case.
She should be doing the time alone, because of the value alone of Credit Card.

Location: The South | Thank you for posting this NJJ, I was just about to update my original post about this. It makes me so sad and angry at the same time. But at least we tried to help by sending the emails opposing her parole. We did what we could.
If I was her, I'd be worried about the mother's friends getting to her. If I remember correctly she testified against her mother. It wouldn't surprise me if her mother had someone rough her up. It sounds like a crazy family where crime is normal to them, so there's no telling what her future holds.
ETA: I wonder what the "special conditions of maximum supervision" part of her parole means? Maybe she won't be free to do as she pleases during the day?

She already did time in the OK system and then was transferred to AR. |
