Location: South Central Florida | Try straight from the sides, head up. From straight behind, and good shot of the front legs/feet from the front.
Straight from the sides, meaning, in the middle, not more from the head or butt...just middle.
Horse pictures are hard to take. I may be able to draw one, and know what it takes to look good, but I can not take a good shot. |

| Only thing i see a little straight in shoulders, that being said she has long shoulders. She could use some weight. She is a scopey mare, i bet she could run. My little corona mare looked like that when i bought her a couple hundred pounds latter she looks totaly different. She is a tank of a mare, i dont thnk she is underweight i just think she could have more weight and look better. Hiw does she ride.
She really doesnot have a top line. How is she bred. Maybe her shoulders look straight as the picture he front legs where under her.

| I have only had her for a month and she is starting to fill out, first pic is when i picked her up and last pic was today. Shes a late 3 yr old. Her mom and dad are both built like tanks so we will see. Shes a grand daughter frenchmans guy on sires side and dams side is smooth herman. She is incredibly athletic, smart very smooth to ride but will drop down and snap in her turns. I am not training her yet on barrels but have been taking her around trees, bushes etc. Love what ive seen so far. |

| I always loved doing conformation critiques in the horse and rider magazines growing up.
This is my opinion
The shoulder is steep
The front legs are too far under the body, both of these will affect his stride. If you draw a line from the elbow down to the ground, it doesn't line up with the ergot, or the back of the knee.
The hip is weak, and not proportionate to the rest of his body, his is very front end heavy which is going to make him have to work twice as hard to drive with his hind end.
His back legs also are too far under him, when you draw a line from the hock, it doesn't line up with the hip point ( sorry I can't think of the proper term) and it doesn't line up with the ankle
The length of the back compared to the underline, I like to see a shorter back.
