Probably one of the breeds with the MOST health problems. Exceptions to every rule of course but I'd think long and hard before choosing that breed. Google Megasophagus, that is my experience with them. They also sink like a rock in water (again, exceptions to every rule) have skin allergies and over-heat easily. From a reputable breeder, something close to $2,500 and I wouldn't risk buying one from any one who isn't a well educated breeder. Of course they are also the cutest dang things ever, so there is that :)
Oh and they pass gas. alot of it. 
I would bet $100 they don't have anything on my Doberman and Boxer. When they pass gas they get up and leave the room... it is that bad lol. |

Part of the problem with frenchies and regular bull dogs-there are so few-non related studs/females in the country that there is a good chance yours will have some sort of issue-this also applies to several other breeds. All the "fancy" full blood dogs that have very few different breeding parents. Sorry, I know the people that own frenchies-love them but are appalled at the amount they spend to keep them from itching themselves to death!
The same could be said about "fancy" barrel horses as well. |

Location: Wearing a winter coat...... | See- My french bulldogs have no issues....none. My English are another story........ Be aware that the french will turn into little mini Heelers. I have to yell at mine every day to get out of the pasture. If I see a colt running around like crazy--- I know Lola is out chasing them. |

My boxer does the same!! We joke it's because he hears/smells it and then gets embaressed and leaves the room.

Location: the other T-town, Oklahoma | I will say Diesel does have gas! He can be in his chair, his are not the silent but deadly type either--you hear them, he will let one rip and turn around and look at his rear. I think he is trying to figure out how something so foul could come out of such a cute little bull dog butt! His gets no table scraps and I have since put him on a vet dog food that has drastically cut down on this problem. |

There's an easy fix for that. We have 2 breeds known for clearing a room and we sure don't have that problem anymore. I feed them FORCO. Works great and is good for them and keeps the air in your home from getting toxic..LOL |

How do you get them to eat it?? Do you mix it with dog food? You're talking about the stuff you feed horses, right? |

Likes/dislikes ? Health problems ? I have wanted one forever but we seem to always be at maximum capacity of dogs LOL would love to see everyone's :)
Get on Facebook and look up the group For The Love of Frenchies
Just today alone I have seen several reposts for persons wishing to rehome their frenchies for one reason or another. Shame on them, I wouldn't take a gold monkey for my two. |
