Adding more Beduino to this mare... Or do you think it would scare away too many potential buyers??

I personally like Beduino....so it wouldn't scare me away. I think most BB's on here wouldn't like to see alot. what stallion are you wanting to cross her on?

Honestly the Beduino she's got is back far enough I don't see a problem. There are some people who actually like Beduino. My filly has a dash of it and it hasn't hurt her a bit.

I am looking at options right now and haven't narrowed it down a lot yet (just got her so just started looking). Shes built so nice and moves like a cheetah (reach) crossed with an antelope(quickness of foot). Just curious as to if I should not even bother looking at ones with him in the pedigree or go for an out cross on that and dash for cash.

That's what I think it's going to be far back... but buyers may still key in on it.

Same things other people don't like about other bloodlines. Hot, buck, crazy. I have never seen it.
I will stand up and be the self proclaimed biggest Beduino fan on BHW.
I crossed this double bred mare http://grazingbithorses.com/easterspeedster.html
on my own stallion http://grazingbithorses.com/vfburrseye.html
and wouldn't hesitate to put her on any other stallion I like that may or may not have Beduino in them. All 4 of my mares have Beduino and it is not something I particularly sought out. I liked how the mare looked, liked her papers and then liked her disposition just as well to buy each one of them.

With HER pedigree, if people are that scared of Beduino, they are going to stay away no matter WHAT stallion you breed her to.

I agree w/Racing QH - she's already got it on there a couple times... soo adding it more for the people who dont like Beduino wont make a difference they already weren't going to buy her... that being said.... I am not one way or the other on that particular line - but seeing one line bred that much would make me choosy.... i'd have to see the product.. i wouldn't decide on papers.. but past experience says dont do it.

I love the Beduinos.  I think the ones on her papers are far enough back that it won't matter.

When you look at 3 generations back there are 14 horses which means you have 13 other horses influence or almost 93% in your horse besides Beduino.  Personally, we  have 2 Chicks Beduino who are sweet, want to please and fast.  I don't see any problem but that's JMO :)

LOL I guess; it's crossed my mind to stack it and maybe try Pappasito BUT that's a lot of one line (And I'd be worried about sex balancing and such for that type of line bred... I usually try and avoid it). She has a lot of horses people shy away from already (I know zevi and azure te haters too even if they are far back)... I was thinking race stud but all my fav's have him somewhere that I can think of off the top of my head (I am sure there may be one I am not thinking of). Maybe I'll stick to performance or cow horse with her. She's got plenty of run already....

I love Pappasito and if you went that way you would have Beduino through his top siring son and one of his very best daughters.

What would scare me isn't so much all the Beduino. It's all the Beduino and the Zevi. My experience has been that this crossing gives you a very smart, very fast horse. But they aren't the most user friendly. A person has to actually be a horseman and have horse sense to get by one. You'd be surprised how many people (including big name trainers) are lacking in that area. If the baby was for me, I'd do the cross. If it was for resell purposes, I wouldn't.

This would likely end up being for resale so I am thinking avoid it... but it does make me wonder what it would be like. You are right though... she is a very cat like, fast little (15.1 ish) mare.

I love Pappasito. I have one who's dam is by Bully and she's out of a RQD daughter who's out of a Hempen daughter. She's really a nice filly. She's 2 and I'm getting her next week. I also have a Scrutinizer out of the same mare. She is wicked fast and a hot mess. She's super smart but she wants to go so bad that it's been a challenge to get her going and keep her together. I shudder to think what would happen to her in the hands of someone that likes to be harsh and heavy handed. She'd probably hurt them and herself. Like I said, not user friendly at all.
