Location: In my own world | So I ordered for the second time today and I must not have been paying attention the first time. Shipping was $40? I ordered 2 containers of Platinum Paks and a jug of oil. I think if I do auto ship I can get shipping for $20. Why is it so expensive? Is there a dealer I can order from? And why do they need to know my vets name? |

Location: My own little world :) | I too do not understand the shipping cost. I order whatever I need through my vet and then they have it drop shipped to my house. That way there is no cost of shipping for my vet or I as I understand. Check with your vet and see if you can do the same thing :) |

I have Equine and Canine CJ and Healthy Weight Oil all three on auto-ship, but I cannot remember the shipping cost. Lotta help I am!!! Less than 15 when the large Equine CJ ships alone I think. |

| First of all, only vets can sell it so no dealers. There are two vets here that sell it. My vet gave me a card with a number on it and I think that is SUPPOSED to get you free shipping, it doesn't. My farrier's wife uses the same vet but told me she got her card from another vet. She said that did give her free shipping. I usually just pick mine up at the vet when I go pay my bill. That stuff is heavy, that is why it cost so much. If I order heavy stuff from valley vet it is high. I have put a vet's name in that does not sell Platinum and it worked. I think they use that for marketing. |

I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure it didn't cost me any shipping. Thats why I went with that option. I bought one of the big barrels of platinum and It would have cost a fair amount in shipping but with the drop ship it didn't. |

| My shipping for 25lb bucket of CJ is $16.00. 40 seems WAY too high. |

I didn't buy mine through a vet. I bought through Santa Cruz labs, I think, or through Platinum themselves. I can't remember it was several years ago. But I do know it was not from a vet. |

Location: Sunnyland Florida | I quit using it also because of the shipping price and so did a few of my friends. I never allow anything to "auto-withdraw" from my accounts as a result of horrible experiences with auto-withdraw in general.
Love ya, Platinum, you just need to be more accessible!

I order Platinum Paks because it is easier for my husband if he has to feed. The buckets that they come in are not that heavy. I don't have any vets around here that carry any of it in stock. But I have ordered Equilix small tubs with better shipping rates and they are way heavier than this |

Agreed. Shipping for my 25lb buckets is like $15.00. If I order it through my vet, they drop ship for free.
Maybe call them directly and ask? The customer service from Platinum is excellent. |
