| The wool blend top with memory foam. Anyone use these pads? Likes or dislikes and do they seem to hold up pretty good? |

| Love these pads just for everyday use. They hold up well, we have used some pretty hard and they still work well. I dont compete in them, but like them for riding. Mostly using them on rope horses. They do get HEAVY if you use them all day and slave one in them. |

Location: The edge of no where | I've used them occasionally - just not much of a fan. I prefer the way a contoured felt pad fits my horses. It's not as pretty, but I like the functionality better. |

| These are the only pads I am using right now. I love mine, and they hold up really well. |

Location: West Texas | I don't like them at all. Memory foam just crushes down under a load and provides little protection or shock absorption. A lot of equibrand products, I don't understand how or why they developed them for horses. |

| Thank you everyone! For those saying they don't compete in them, can I ask why? This would be for my barrel mare but I would be using it for everyday riding and also competing. I usually only have one pad :) |

Agree. Don't get me wrong, they're a well made pad, but I definitely did not see any sort of shock absorbtion benefits to these over other pads. I really don't like memory foam in almost any application in life. |

| I have an almost brand new one I would sell if interested - it might have 20 rides on it. PM me for details. And sorry if this is not allowed. |

I've riden just about every new fancy pad out there, and continually wind up going back to a good contoured felt pad over a casa zia or thinner navajo. It just works better for protecting their back. I have felt pads in 1/2", 3/4" and 1" thickness. It's just what works for me. I felt like the esp pads compressed down too nothing on the pressure points. The contoured esp is better - but just not something I'm going to use.

Yes I will - he is actually going to be for sale in the spring. Hehe! Caveat - the price of the pad will increase if he goes with it. LOL. |

I have two and really, really like mine. I rope and run barrels with them and have never had any problems.
I bought a wool blanket top one and HATE it; causes my saddles to roll on any horse I use it on so I will stick with the black felt top. |
