I have been in touch with Impartial Solutions that is orchestrating the buyback. I have been told that they will have someone in contact with me to come meet me about my truck within 2 weeks. We are nearing the end of week 1 and still nothing....

Β Did they give you a buy back price? We got ours today but they are sending an appraiser out to make a higher offer to leave the bed on it. Then we can take it or decline and go from there. I am wondering if they are handling the commercial trucks differently.

No offer price yet. They said that I will get that by email right before I am contacted.

Did they give you any idea how long it would be for an appraiser to get to you? I really don't want to have to make another payment on this thing. When did you get your paperwork into them?

Our daughter got a buyback on a lemon 2007 before it was a year old and they lost their butts on it. It was in the shop more then it was on the road so they took it and cried.

I'll post the number to call tomorrow.  Its in my truck right now and I just crawled into bed.  If you call corporate they will transfer you over though.

Like I said, I don't know if they are treating the commercial vehicles and fleet vehicles with priority or not, but we did get our buy back price today.

I don't know where most people would be.  If we had purchased our truck for sticker price without a down payment we would be pretty much screwed.  But we didn't pay sticker price and we put down a very substantial down payment, so we are actually getting twice as much as we owe plus the price of the bed if we let them buy it.

Yeah I am sitting pretty good for the comparison to "good" Blue Book value. I just want this one gone so I can spend my truck payment paying down a credit card for a few months and then get a new truck in the spring.

Why are they buying them back? This is the first I have heard about it? Are their certain year models or qualifications?

Anybody who has one that is on the buy back list would already know about it by the notices sent in the mail

Do you have FB? I can put you in contact with someone that worked his way up to sales manager at Al West Chrysler in Rolla. He will know what to do.

I do have facebook, Tiff Josh Robinson,

As far as I am tracking we are on point for getting everything done.

We are most likely replacing it with another Ram 5500

Missroselee what is your latest update? I have not even gotten my offer letter yet and each rep I talk to gives a different answer. Though I have been pretty cool headed I am starting to lose my temper.
