Location: Central Texas | I love mine. I like the way it fits me and fits ALL of my horses. It's practical, durable and decent looking. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | People will either love them or absolutely hate them. My first saddle was a Billy Cook halfbreed Barrel my Dad bought used. It's had a tree replacement and is still being used 15 years later. It's been through heck and is still going. I honestly wouldn't buy a new one. But those older ones are priceless to me. The one he bought me was always so comfy to ride in.. |

Location: Missouri | Like, how old? Lol! Mine is a Youree barrel racer from the 1980's. I bought it used in the late 90's and I won't part with it, even though I'll never fit in it again. Haha! It's a great, solid saddle, and the first I bought with my own money. I plan to put youth fenders on it and let the kiddos use it. |

Location: Missouri | I had one that was made in the mid 90s (I think) and I hated it! Couldn't quite put my finger on it but for some reason I had such a hard time sitting really deep in that goofy thing. But I know lots of other people who love them! |

| I have a BC that's over 40 years old (cutting horse tree) that is probably the best saddle I've ridden. It doesn't look its age at all. I had to replace the fenders about 15 years ago, but the rest of the saddle is in excellent shape. |

| I have one that I bought new in 1974 in Shreveport LA. That was way before Billy Cook was bought out by Longhorn. That was WAY before a plant was even dreamed of on Sulfur OK. I don't ride mine any more but it still looks great. Since buckstotching is coming back in I guess I need to start using mine as it is full buckstitched. |

| As someone said how old, and which brand?
There is the Greenville Texas ones, or the sulphur Oklahoma saddle
I know the sulphur Oklahoma saddles, even 15 yrs ago there were different trees.
I have a Lynn Mackenzie tree made by sulphur Oklahoma that I love riding my colts in. It has held up well, still looks fairly new.
I find they don't hold their value well, quality is mid line (comparing to crown c, original tod sloan) |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I have one I believe is late 80's. Maybe a bit newer than that. And I absolutely love it. I went out and cleaned it up and "roughed up" the rough out. It cleaned up beautifully. The only problem is, it doesn't fit my mare when she's muscled up. :-( I tried to buy a new one, but it didn't fit either. I go with Sulphur, OK. They may not be the best of the best. But they're of good quality in my opinion. |

| I rode in them growing up and to this day our my favorite treed saddle, especially when on a budget. They fit a good majority of my horses and quality was good. I rode in the sulphur, ok ones, greenville werent as nice. A friend of mine had a Greenville, TX one but probably from the 80s and I did like that one. If I didnt know better, I would have thought it was Sulphur, OK. |
