None of my horses have refused the Standlee timothy compressed bales or pellets. But they also have all eaten the sad ditch hay my barn supplies so evidently they're not that picky.

I just walked out to the barn because I couldn't remember the name of the hay my horses do not like. It is Standlee. There is nothing wrong with the quality. My horses just love that coastal I put out for them. They just really do not like that timothy. I guess if that was all I fed, they would eat it.

So far so good! My horses seem to like the Timothy. At 29.00 bucks a bale. They better!

As of this morning they will always choose the alfalfa before the timothy but they are eating it for the most part.

that is sort of how you want it. they like it but don't gorge on it and be done in an hour. keep it in a net even if it is not a slow feeder. I use the cotton net with big holes and it works fine you could also double net it
