| Some people love to garden. Weeding not so much. However, weeding is an essential part of gardening. Weeds grow right next to the plants, and if left alone eventually cause destruction. Weeds hinder the growth of what is good in a garden. Unchecked, they'll keep a garden from being fruitful.
Jesus said that seeds of truth He plants in our hearts get crowded out by worries, as well as by our desires for wealth or our desire for more stuff. I can say I don't desire wealth, but the fact is, I wish we had a little more. Not a lot, understand, just a little bit more.
Further, in a random hour of almost any day, I probably have a dozen worries flit through my brain. I don't consciously decide to worry: in fact, I try not to. Bit still, the cares of this life march right on through: How will we manage? How can I help my parents stay in good health? Should I spend money to go to barrel race, or save for a need later?
Jesus is the only one who can give me the fruitful life I long for. I cannot get it by trying harder, but rather by opening my life to Him., letting Him eradicate the weeds of worry and concern, while cultivating to contentment and trust, ironically, the way to cultivate contentment is to simply stop trying so hard, trust grows when we surrender to Jesus.
Mark 4:18-19 the seed then fell among the thorns represents who hears Avis's word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by worries of this life, the lure of wealth and the desires for other things, so no fruit is produced.
Father step: what unhealthy worries and desires for stuff or wealth are crowding out growth in your life? Are you willing to let God pull those weeds from your life?
My parents are getting elderly, they are healthy PRAISE GOD! I feel God is allowing me to go ahead with my daily life, go to barrel races on weekends, allow me to let go and let my sisters take the weekends with my parents . It allows me to regroup and weed out the pressure . The will be a day I may not be able to go out of town, so for now I will . This is a big deal for me to let go and let others. I pray every day for God to show me that by letting others do becomes a blessing for them and me! That is hard to understand when you are the organizer of the family the decision maker, to let go and know that it's all going to be ok.
For it is WITH God all things are possible.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Please weed out all that need to be so that I will produce the fruitful life you have blessed me with AMEN

A few of us payed it forward to a friend in need last week. Tersa Hart had a surgery, she has been in hospital since June, had stroke and her left side is not functioning , we got a Mobil wheel cheer, and had it delivered to her .
We are so blessed we can come together when we see out brother and sisters in need to pay it forward. We have helped others with money donations, Alicia Montgomery, had baling wire stuck in her eye, Tim Acosta, kidney transplant, Steve Cunningham, ruptured colon, with too strong antibiotics , Debbie moody breast cancer, Scott Griffen, lip cancer.
ALL of these are healed in the Mighty Name of Jesus. THANK YOU Jesus!!
 it makes my heart smile to help others, I KNOW GOD smiles TOO!!

| Amen!!! Thank you for this...I definitely need it as what I need for my bills is $1200 and my bank account is $1260. (Not including food for myself, my baby, or my horses, fuel, phone bill, etc.) I know that worrying doesn't help and stress manifests in weird ways. | |

| we must remember,that worry is doesn't change things , it is actually worshipping the devil, TRUST in God changes EVERYTHING!! That is worshipping God AMEN! AMEN!! | |
