I'm looking for a saddle that fits all shapes and sizes and therefore not soring up their backs. What are your thoughts on these saddles? They're pricey but if they won't make my horses sore then it's worth a try.

I don't ride anything else. Own 3 different trees.

That being said... they DO have several different trees... make sure you get the one that fits your horse.

Is there a tree that's more versatile on fitting everything?

I have 5-7 horses on the go at any given time and I have 3 different ones for a reason... It honestly depends on the type of horses you ride. I tend to ride narrower racey types and find the standard tree pozzi to be pretty versatile. I have a friend who rides stockier cowhorse types and her wide tree pozzi and double j pro standard seem to work for her.

They can, and will, do saddle fitting for you!  You can also take your horse to the shop in Yoakum and they will fit your horse there (don't know if that's an option for you).  I ride in a Pozzi wide fit and it works for just about everything EXCEPT the one horse I have left - getting my tree swapped out to a Pozzi Xtra wide.

There is no "one size fits all" in saddles. Yes, double j's are good saddles, but most likely you will need more than 1 to fit a variety of horses.

I have an older model Double J and I adore it.  Fit like a glove from the first time I sat in it.  Paid a small fortune for it used but it was worth it - they hold their value.  Mine is a wide fit and it seems to fit most everything.  The horse I am using it on now is a bit narrow across the withers so I am using a Biofit pad and there are no dry spots or sore spots.  I personally think a wider fit saddle is more versatile as you can shim them if needed but if I had one horse that was race built - I'd find a Double J in a regular fit tree.

I love love love Double J Pozzi saddles. I have two horses one is a stocky Sunfrost mare and one is built like a thorobred. I use the wide fit on both horses. It fits the stocky mare great and I just use a little thicker pad on the thorobred made mare. They work awesome for both horses.

Yes they are a little pricey but in my books you get what you pay for. Its like comparing a cadillac to a volkswagon. lol

Sorry, but I had to.
