Well it is just around the corner...so I thought I would ask all the wonderful people here what their ideas would be for Christmas ideas for bosses who basically have everything and if they want anything they just go out and get it. Last year I gave them all (5) crosses that they could hang either in their offices or at home. They still sit on their desks. So I am needing ideas. Anyone??

I work at a construction company and my bosses can hardly wait for 2 gifts- 1) the insurance agent always sends those stackable candy boxes or a big tin of peppermint bark and 2) the banker's wife sends homemade goodies. These 2 tough as nails men go absolutely nuts for these gifts. Oh, another hit is the big year calendars, the one that all the months are shown on 1 big sheet.

Perhaps if the person doesn't really have anyone at home cooking many meals,  then make them goodies. if they have someone at home who cooks a lot, then maybe a dinner out.

If you know what they drink then get them a bottle. Go with a smaller bottle but great quality. Most people won't spend the extra money on themselves but will really enjoy having the best of something. I have never drank any wine that was given to me but the tequila and cookies never last long.

Usual something personal/personalized. Or not sure if they do alcohol or not but everyone fights at our Christmas over flavored homemade moonah one (not the real stuff obviously) more like.....http://allrecipes.com/recipe/21465/apple-pie-cider/ orhttp://sweetcsdesigns.com/peach-pie-moonshine/ orhttp://www.justapinch.com/recipes/drink/cocktail/pumpkin-pie-moonshine.html (I've made apple and peach recipes...apple seems to win both taste very good) I haven't made pumpkin personally but it was a hit last Christmas when another family member brought it. I make it also for my neighbors with christmas goodies. I'm convinced pretty soon they will be knocking on my door wondering if it's ready yet. LOL
